Accessibility Statement

We want every person in our communities to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology.

Our standard

We design and build to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as closely as possible, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time task.

What we do

  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
  • Logical heading structure and skip-to-content link
  • Labels, instructions, and accessible error messages on every form
  • Meaningful alternative text for images
  • Strong color contrast, with no meaning conveyed by color alone
  • Large touch targets and layouts that tolerate enlarged text
  • Plain-language content and mobile-responsive pages

Known limitations

Documents and maps that have not yet been published may not meet the same standard when added. We will review each one before posting.
